Chandra Sundra Trust is Mumbai based grass root level NGO; involved in different Social Activities for the community like eye checkup camps, medical health checkup canps, Cancer detection camp, cleanliness drive etc. A Team of youth, who have passion in social service and compassion towards the sufferings of the disadvantaged sections of the society, came together and formed Chandra Sundra Trust.
Chandra Sundra Trust has been collaborating with Rotary Club of Chembur ,Central Board for Workers Education, R.C.F. Ltd.,Lokmanya Shikshan Sanstha towards making meaningful interventions for the cause of poor and needy sections of the society
They have clear insight in the socio-economic and health issues faced by the downtrodden, under privileged and marginalized segments of the communities. Chandra Sundra Trust is a non-governmental, non-profit, social service voluntary organization working for an integrated development of women and children of vulnerable segment of the society.

In areas served by Chandra Sundra Trust most of the disadvantaged women work as domestic help, agricultural laborers, and as maids in schools, hospitals, shops and establishments. Women working on farms face uncertain and seasonal employment. Due to lack of skills and education and irregular income generation activities, they remain below poverty line.

Since 2010 we have been organizing vocational skill development training programs in various trades like jewellery designing, Mobile repairing & setakai prashikshan for the empowerment of women through sustainable livelihoods. Chandra Sundra Trust is conducting these women development programs in Mumbai, Thane and Raigad District.

Chandra Sundra Trust believes that all human beings are equal and has the right to have good health and proper standard of living. Chandra Sundra Trust has touched new heights by Regular Activities to fulfil the mission of organization. Our executive committee oversees all the organization's efforts. The committee meets regularly to ensure that all of our teams perform efficiently and to facilitate cross-functional connections. Our team of excellent staff, volunteers & members, who are dedicated, are available for any social cause always. They are our real strength to carry on with the noble cause of uplifting the downtrodden and send a message “WE CARE & SUPPORT". "

The Achievement of the our organization so far have been  built on the unstinted and solid support of philanthropic citizens to the betterment of Society. We are hopeful that the same support will continue for the future projects of the organization.
